I’VE BEEN CRAZY BUSSYYYYY!!! AHHHHH!!!!!
But I’m home for the weekend because I haven’t been home in 2 weeks, so I was dyingggg for some homeytime ; 3 ;
Well the new semester at school had started, and I just finished week 3. Crazy how it’s already week 3….I feel like this semester will fly by
This semester I’m taking ALLL engrish classes, which is the first time! Because usually I would balance it out with some other subject like anthropology or spanish or whatever else I needed, but since I’m getting closer to my major, I’ve started to get into the nitty gritty. And having all engrish classes means a looooooooooooot of time spent on reading books after books after books, and then writing and analyzing papers and papers and papers =A= BLARRGGHH! Just last night I had to read two novels and write two papers on them, I was up till 5am! My brain was turning into mush!!
Getting adjusted to school without my boyfriend was…easier than I thought it would be. Maybe it’s because I’ve become more serious about my future/schoolwork, or maybe it’s because I’m just too busy to care much. Well I don’t know! But I’m glad I wasn’t the mopey mess that I anticipated myself to be wahaha XD
My boyfriend and I used to see/spend everyday together, and now it’s cut down to 1 or 2 times a week :) I feel like this is more normal….I don’t think what we did before was normal LOL, but at the time I thought it was because all of my friends were like that too, it’s easy to become obsessed with the person you love, so much so that you only want to spend all of your time with them. But this is more liberating, I think it equally both gives us time and space to grow as our own person—at least, for me it is. But nothings really changed, we’re still just as loving and caring towards each other as we were, the only difference now is that our time together has become more precious
Anywhoooo, last weekend I got tix to see Midnight Conspiracy at Lincoln Hall, so me and Cervie went and had a grand ol’ time dancin dancin daancin >:3 but people are right about dubstep dancing..you do just have a seizure lOL
And last week we went to see Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol!!! IT WAS SO FUNNYYY!!!! LOLOL!!! And not just because of Simon Pegg (God bless him), but the whole thing was sprinkled with a lot of really cheesy moments!!! XDDDD I loved the new directing, I think adding that dash of humor into it was incredible, it definitely made the movie much more enjoyable to me, because I don’t usually like spy/bond/m.i movies that much because they’re always so darn SERRIOUSS!!
Yesterday we went out to dinner at Ra! :3 it was a lot of fun, I think he’s embarrassed of me a lot of the times because I’m actually REALLYYY loud when I’m happy, and I can see the panic in his eyes and then he tries to cover my mouth with his hand lOLOLOL. Then we went to Barnes and Nobles like we always do after dinner at Ra, and after browsing and reading inappropriate jokes, we both ended up sitting side by side engulfed in magazines of our own respective obsessions; cafe racers and the Hunger Games XDD And then he came to my place and knocked out on my bed just like the good ol’ times……..he was sprawled out on my bed, snoring like a creature and drooling all over my pillows - .. - So I just went into the living room and did my studies and waited till he woke up, and then we went out for some late night ice-cream! :D
And then tonight when I got home, my mommy took me out for a sushi date too! And we were discussing my plans for next year again, and (did I say this already..?) but we’ve both agreed that I would be getting my own apartment by the spring time. I’m actually really nervous about it, because I feel like it’s a big step. I know I’m growing up, and I DID just get my credit card, so I guess the next step into adulthood would be my own place? I’m still kinda iffy on it though just because I know it’ll put a lot more on my back with rent and what not….but I’m also really excited for it too. To be honest, I’ve been so over these dorms at UIC, the amount of weed these kids smoke in the dorms should be record breaking.
And and ; A ; omgahh, no matter how much I’ve tried to slow down the process…I’m finally, regrettably…on the last book of the Hunger Games ; A ; AHHOMGAAHH!!!!
